Beat egg whites until still and dry. Fold 1 c. sugar, gradually. Add 1⁄2 t. vanilla, 1 c. coconut, 2 c. cornflakes, 1⁄2 c. finely chopped nuts. Spoon on very well oiled cookie sheet. Bake at 375° until lightly brown (10-12 minutes). Makes about 20 macaroons.
