2 c. Vinegar Strong
1 t. Cloves
1 t. Allspice
1 T. Cinnamon

Select small, young beets. Cook until tender then dip into cold water. Skin and pack in jars. Pour syrup over beets. Seal and process for 10 minutes. Makes 8 pints.
