1 c. Potato Shredded
2 c. Flour
1⁄2 t. Nutmeg
1 c. Sugar
1⁄2 c. Shortening
1 c. Raisins
1⁄2 t. Cloves
1 t. Cinnamon
2 t. Baking Soda
1⁄2 t. Salt
1⁄2 c. Water
Carrot Pudding Sauce
1 qt. Milk
1 c. Sugar
1⁄2 cube Butter

Carrot Pudding

Mix soda and water together then mix with remaining ingredients. Steam 3-4 hours. Serve with sauce (see step below).

Heat until butter melts then add cornstarch and milk to thicken.
