Ingredients

1 c. Sifted Flour
3⁄4 c. Sugar
2 T. Cocoa
2 T. Baking Powder
1⁄2 t. Salt
1⁄2 c. Milk
2 T. Vegetable Oil
1 t. Vanilla
3⁄4 c. Brown Sugar
3 T. Cocoa
1 c. Nuts Chopped
1 3⁄4 c. Water Hot

Sift together first flour, sugar, cocoa, baking powder, and salt. Add milk, salad oil and vanilla. Mix until smooth. Stir in nuts. Pour in greased 8″ square pan. Mix together brown sugar and cocoa. Sprinkle over batter. Pour hot water over entire batter. Bake at 350° about 45 minutes.
