Name: Pound Cake
Ingredients: Sugar: 2-1/2 c.; Milk: 1 c.; Eggs: 4; Butter: 1 c.; Flour: 3-1/2 c.; Lemon Extract: 2 t.; Baking Powder: 1 t.; Salt: pinch

2-1/2 c. Sugar
1 c. Milk
4 Eggs
1 c. Butter
3-1/2 c. Flour
2 t. Lemon Extract
or vanilla
1 t. Baking Powder
pinch Salt

Directions

Sift dry ingredients together. Cut in softened butter until very fine. Add milk, flavoring, and eggs. Beat well and bake in 9×13 pan for 1 hour at 325 degrees.
