Ingredients

Step One
2 c. Brown Sugar Packed
3 T. Butter
1 1⁄2 c. Water
Step Two
1 c. Granulated Sugar
2 t. Cinnamon
2 c. Flour
2 t. Baking Powder
1⁄2 t. Salt
2 T. Butter
1 c. Milk
1 t. Vanilla
1⁄2 c. Nuts

Boil 1 minute, cool.

Step Two

Cream sugar and butter slightly, sift dry ingredients together and add alternately with milk. Add nuts to last flour to coat. Put batter in greased 9" baking dish. Pour cooled sauce over it and bake 35-40 minutes at 350°. Serve with milk, whipped cream, or ice cream.
