Ingredients

½ Chicken Can substitute 1 lb. beef or pork
2 c. Chicken Broth Can substitute beef broth
2 t. Salt
2 t. Sugar
3 c. Celery Sliced
1 med. Onion Sliced
1 can Bean Sprouts
½ c. Bamboo Shoots Sliced
1 small can Mushrooms
1 small can Water Chestnuts
2 T. Corn Starch in ½ c. water

Brown meat in fat.  Drain fat.  Add broth, salt, and sugar.  Simmer 10 minutes.  Add vegetables and cook until tender.  Do not overcook.  Thicken with cornstarch mixture and cook until clear.  Serve over Chinese noodles or rice.
