18 spears Asparagus
4 Eggs Hard boiled, chopped
1⁄2 c. Bread Crumbs
1⁄4 c. Cheese Shredded
1⁄4 c. Butter Melted
1⁄4 c. Flour
1⁄4 c. Butter
1⁄2 t. Salt
1 1⁄2 c. Milk

Cook asparagus to tender crisp stage. Layer half asparagus then half eggs, half cheese cause and repeat. Mix bread crumbs and melted butter and sprinkle over top. Bake 30 minutes at 350°.

Sauce: Place butter in sauce pan, add salt and flour. Heat and add enough milk to make smooth paste, then stir in remaining milk. Stir in cheese until melted.
